You don't have to live near a beach to incorporate coastal decor into your home. With the help of a few coats of Ultra Cover 2x Gloss spray paint in Gloss Ocean Mist, an accent piece like this cabinet will provide the perfect amount of beachy vibes to kick off your decorating. Not ready to commit to the coastal look throughout your entire home? Try incorporating this look into a smaller room, like your bathroom or laundry room.

  1. PREPARE: Always work in a well-ventilated area and cover your surrounding areas with a drop cloth to protect them from overspray. Mask off or remove all glass from the cabinet. Lightly sand the entire cabinet and wipe it down with a tack cloth to remove dust. For best results, remove all hardware and doors.
  2. PAINT: Shake your can of Ultra Cover 2x Gloss spray paint (Gloss Ocean Mist) for 1 minute after the ball begins to rattle. Hold the can 10-16” from the surface and spray in a steady back and forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. For best results, apply 2 or more light coats a few minutes apart.
  3. FINISH: Allow the cabinet to dry for 24 hours. Once the cabinet is dry, replace the glass, doors, and hardware.

Place your cabinet in any room of your home for instant coastal charm, and top it off with nautical picture frames, seashells, or this chic DIY Artificial Coral.
